The Eternal Wait

I was waiting in the lonely park,

Just beyond the banyan tree,

For a tryst in the desolate night,

Too jittery to breathe free.

I was waiting, I was yearning,

And keeping an eye on my watch,

It almost felt like a thousand years,

While a spasm began to catch.

Watching over the hedge,

I waited like a stone,

After a desperate wait,

I set off to my home.

In my heart I felt a void,

And I began to ponder,

Why, why didn’t she come?

Hence I started to wonder.

I couldn’t fathom, was it love?

No, it couldn’t be for it was over,

How could they say love was eternal?

But I knew I had to recover.

True, it may seem, that new days dawn,

And bitter memories die,

There’s fear but hope still,

As life goes by,

As life goes by.

There is a stark reality
that we fail to see
that Love cannot hurt us
its wishes that create the fuss
If you love truly then you have won
rest is game of desires undone

I believe in LOVE :)

There is always more to love than we know. If we can give wishes lower priority than our love we will never lose it. We dont have to be sad for anything.
